• It allows individual objectives to be clearly aligned with team and organisational objectives

• Simple low-cost system to record individual objectives and progress against them; objectives being set by team leader and team member

• Organisation wide objectives can be set up that will appear in everybody’s one2one meeting agenda.

• Allows objectives set during the year to be part of the appraisal process.

• Creates two separate groups of objectives; Permanent and Timed, which in turn are further divided into Operational Task and Personal. This allows work planning to be separated from personal development; and provides a forum for setting improvement goals for behaviour, attitude and interpersonal skills.

• Each objective can have intermediate Milestone dates added; and Tasks associated with the Milestone recorded.
